Terms of Service

Welcome to RepostEngine. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

RepostEngine is a content repurposing tool that converts YouTube video content into ready to post text for multiple social media platforms, including Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Quora, Reddit, TikTok, blog posts, and newsletters. Our service analyzes video transcripts and generates platform specific content.

2. User Accounts

To use RepostEngine, you must sign in with a Google account. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use RepostEngine to:

  • Repurpose content you do not have the rights to use
  • Generate spam, misleading, or deceptive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Distribute harmful, abusive, or hateful content
  • Circumvent usage limits through multiple accounts or automated means
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our service

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you generate using RepostEngine. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your generated content. However, you are solely responsible for ensuring you have proper rights to the source videos you process and for the content you publish using our generated output.

RepostEngine, its logo, and all associated branding are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

5. Payment Terms

RepostEngine offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges at the stated price until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are handled on a case by case basis. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us within 14 days of the charge.

6. Usage Limits

Each plan includes a specific number of video conversions per month. Free accounts receive 3 video conversions per month. Paid plans offer higher limits as described on our pricing page. Unused conversions do not roll over to the next month. We reserve the right to adjust limits to maintain service quality and prevent abuse.

7. Disclaimers

RepostEngine is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free. Generated content may contain inaccuracies, and you are responsible for reviewing and editing all output before publishing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RepostEngine and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using RepostEngine at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or for any reason at our discretion with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by requiring re-acceptance within the application. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international commercial law. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our service will be resolved through good faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
